Bio

Sam DeLeo is a published poet and has seen two of his plays, “Getting on Top” and “The Same River Twice,” produced for the stage. He has written for a number of publications, including The Denver Post and Reverb (HeyReverb.com). His stories, both short fiction and nonfiction, have appeared in Glass Mountain, the London-based fiction magazine Talking Soup and Grub St. Grackle: An Ornithological Debacle, among others.

Of his novel “As We Used to Sing,” DeLeo says, “I will probably never take as many risks again in writing a novel. It’s a social, allegorical novel, but the characters are real people to me.” Mr. DeLeo lives in Denver, Colorado.
